It’s easy to read the trades, but their content doesn’t really affect the average working actor. The one small act of reading your SAG-AFTRA emails for two weeks straight can give info that actually affects you. For your convenience, I’ll list some highlights here.

The SAG-AFTRA Los Angeles Conservatory Committee 2025
works on a local level to facilitate, encourage, and empower all local SAG-AFTRA members to expand their knowledge and advance their career objectives through educational programs overseen by dedicated industry professionals. SAG-AFTRA’s Kerri Wood Einertson explains the benefits of the California Film & Television Tax Credit Program. Dec. 19, 2024
“In October, the Governor announced his proposal to expand the program from $330 million to $750 million annually. This more than doubles the program, which we need [and] we are extremely excited about,” said Wood Einertson. “This is a huge boost that we need in order to be competitive not just to other states but other countries.
